Liam Verstraeten

My initial experiences in the construction industry were from the early 80's.  I have been in business from the age of 18, starting with landscape building.  Completed a 5 year City & Guilds in Advanced Brickwork at IOW College in 1986.  Built my first house aged 24 and completed it in full to a satisfied customer. (See testimonials).  Have completed many more projects over the last 24 years.  Completed various conservation courses with certification including conservation philosophy.  Recently attended a course accredited by The Institute of Occcupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Office Manager

Kevin Thornton

Since joining the company I have been involved in the administration of the office and staffing issues.  I also carry out reviews of works that have been previously completed.  I am an ex-firefighter, and as such complete all training of fire safety awareness for the company.  Also the fire risk assessing for clients when required on the commercial side of the business.  I am not always in the office as I am being taught about the construction industry with a hands on approach so as to have a better understanding of existing projects and those that come to us in the future.

Conservation Specialist

Joanne Thornton PGDip BA (Hons) PIFA

I have been interested in historic buildings for a number of years and have gained a postgraduate diploma in archaeology and heritage from the University of Leicester in 2008; this included modules in planning and in buildings archaeology.  In addition I have a BA (Hons) in History and I am a PIFA member of the Institute for Archaeologists (IFA)  I am  qualified to do Desk Based Assessments and archaeological reports up to level 3 as these are sometimes required for Listed Building Consent.

Design & Build Specialists

Simon Le Voi

I have worked with LV Construction on projects on the Isle of Wight and now offer my services to the team.  I will help you with all aspects of the design and with LV's experienced team will, ensure that the build phase runs smoothly.  I have been involved in many projects and like the style that  LV Construction uses to ensure customers get to have there dreams built from the designs we produce.  I will help with the planners and advise you where needed.  I look forward to working with you on your projects.
